Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 7:00 p.m. on December 24th

We will celebrate our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Our service is filled with beautiful music, favorite carols, glowing candles, and a moving Christmas message that will bring the joy of the season to your heart. Calling Singers and Musicians!

Our choir is recruiting singers to come and join us.  Do you like singing the works by great masters?  Do you like contemporary settings of old favorites?  Then come join us!  We do a mix of many types of music.  We also planning to pick up bell choir again if we have enough interested people.  If you are interested in joining us, come to the Sunday morning service at 10:30 AM and speak to Sarah.

Christmas Memorial Flowers

The deadline for the Christmas Memorial Flower List this year is December 16th.  The list will be in the December 23rd and the Christmas Eve bulletins,  Please either let Jodi know or call the church office (895-2362) and leave a message for Jodi.  Please bring your poinsettia or other plant to the December 23rd service or on Christmas Eve.  It will be displayed through the end of the Christmas Eve service, and then you can take it home to enjoy after the Christmas Eve service.

Time to deck the halls!

On Wednesday, November 28th at 10:00 AM, we will be "decking the halls" in preparation for the upcoming holidays.  We would love to have you come and help us decorate the church, putting up the tree, wreaths and garlands.  The Christmas music will be playing, coffee will be on, and goodies will be served!  For more details, call Jodi at the church office.  See you all there!  The more the merrier!

Open House

Pastor Chris and Karen invite the members of the church to their annual Open House for the on Sunday, December 16, from 3-6 PM at their home in Chester.  Come enjoy some fellowship!  Please speak to Chris or Karen for details.

Annual Church Meeting

On Sunday, November 11th, immediately following the worship service we will hold the annual church business meeting.  It will be followed by a potluck lunch in the fellowship hall.  Please bring a dish to share!

Fall Service Hours

Our normal worship schedule has begun!  Services will start at 10:30am until next summer rolls back around again.

Annual Chicken Barbeque

The Raymond Congregational Church will hold its 62nd Annual Chicken Barbeque on Saturday, July 28th from 5-6:30 pm at the church. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us!  The meal includes one half of a barbequed chicken, salad, chips, roll, drink, and dessert.  For tickets, call the church office at 603-895-2362.  Come be a part of this long-standing community event!

Summer Service Hours

Our summer worship schedule will begin on June 3. Services will start at 10:00am.

Church Council Meeting

On Sunday, June 3, immediately following the worship service there will be a short business meeting to vote on authorizing the Board of Elders to sell the Parsonage.

Holy Week and Easter Services

Our Holy Week and Easter services this year:

• Palm Sunday Service - Sunday, March 25th at 10:30 a.m.
• Good Friday Plain Meal Service - Friday, March 30th, 6:00 p.m.
• Easter Sunday Service - Sunday, April 1st at 10:30 a.m.

We will be celebrating Palm Sunday during our regular 10:30 service. Palms will be available as we remember how the people of Jerusalem welcomed Jesus into the city.

We will be sharing a Plain Meal of bread and soup on Friday, March 30th at 6:00 pm in the church dining room. It will be a Good Friday and Maundy Thursday remembrance in one Service. Please feel free to bring a pot of soup or homemade bread to share.

Easter Sunday Service will be celebrated on April 1st at 10:30 am. Please come and bring a friend or relative. We will be happy to have you join us.

Easter Memorial Flowers

If you would like to place flowers in the church on Easter Sunday, April 1st, in honor or memory of a loved one please speak to someone on the flower committee or call the church office at 895-2362. The deadline is March 25th.
