Holy Week and Easter services for 2019

Our Holy Week and Easter services this year:

• Palm Sunday Service - Sunday, April 14th at 10:30 a.m.
• Good Friday Plain Meal Service - Friday, April 19th, 6:00 p.m.
• Easter Sunday Service - Sunday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m.

We will be celebrating Palm Sunday during our regular 10:30 service. Palms will be available as we remember how the people of Jerusalem welcomed Jesus into the city.

We will be sharing a Plain Meal of bread and soup on Friday, April 19th at 6:00 pm in the church dining room. It will be a Good Friday and Maundy Thursday remembrance in one Service. Please feel free to bring a pot of soup or homemade bread to share.

Easter Sunday Service will be celebrated on April 21st at 10:30 am.  We will be happy to have you join us.

Spring Cleaning!

In the upcoming weeks, some of the ladies will be doing some spring cleaning in the church.  There is a lot to be done, so if you would like to lend a hand, give Jodi a call at the church (603-895-9030).   Thanks!

New Membership Classes Beginning Soon

A new membership class will be beginning soon, currently scheduled for Tuesdays evening.  If you are interested, please see Pastor Chris or Jon.

Recruiting boys for Boy Scout Troop 3 and girls for Troop 3G

Boy Scout Troop 3 meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM at the Congregational Church of Raymond (on the Raymond town common near the town gazebo).   We welcome guests and potential new members, boys ages 11 to 17, or finished the 5th grade.  The troop is also accepting girls for a new Troop 3G, ages 11 to 17, that will meet at the same time on Wednesdays (7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Congregational Church).   

Troop 3 has an active outdoor program which includes a camp out every month, hikes, mountain climbs, canoe trips and kayak trips.    For more information contact Scoutmaster Jon McCosh at 603-895-1108.  

Join us for our crafts night!

You are invited to join our members for craft nights at the Ben Franklin in Raymond on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.  Come join us and show us what special project you have been working on!

Want to Sing or Ring? Come join us!

Do you like to sing?  Have you always wanted to try playing handbells in a bell choir?  

Our church choir is recruiting singers to come and join us.  Do you like singing the works by great masters?  Do you like contemporary settings of old favorites?  Then come join us!  We do a mix of many types of music from a variety of styles and periods.  

We also starting up our bell choir again.  No prior experience is necessary, and the skills will be taught as we go.  Ringing handbells is a fun group experience, and a great way to get involved with music.    

If you are interested in joining us, come to the Sunday morning service at 10:30 AM and speak to Sarah.  

Winter Church Service Hours

During the winter and spring, our morning service will be held at 10:30 AM.  Come join us for a service filled with God's Word, great music, and the inspiration to help you get through your week!
